So the wait may finally be over, and if our feelings are right this may be a great news for everyone and not just for our American followers. HTC has planned a press event for November 3rd in New York City and the only thing we know from the invite is that Beats Audio will be involved, but let’s start with some speculation, and if you are a regular follower of our blog you may have noticed that our intuitions are usually confirmed… so keep reading!
So the invite involves Beats Audio, this means it involves Android, since the Windows Phones (at least for now) don’t have the integration. Furthermore we know that the HTC Rezound (Vigor) is the only smartphone that has not been unveiled yet, despite the several leaks of the past weeks.
So the first easy deduction is about the smartphone that will be launched during the event. But there’s more.
We know that the HTC Rezound is going to Verizon, so why is HTC holding an event for a carrier dedicated phone? They didn’t organize events for the Amaze 4G, or for the Thunderbolt and the many other US only phones. Will this mean that the Rezound will be a global phone? We really hope so!
HTC Rezound is a real superphone: dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 8Mpx camera, Beats Audio and a 4.3-inch display with HD resolution (1280×720). We doubt the device will be launched with Ice Cream Sandwich, but it will definitely receive it with an upgrade in early 2012, unless the rumors of multiple Nexus phones are confirmed.
Let’s wait for November 3rd to learn what HTC’s latest innovation is.
